Fruit Forager Plant Pots and AFK Income

Tourmaline pots, Juicy gates, and seed choices that print coins while you run Orders.

Plant Pots and AFK Income

During the current content pause (developer focus on Voxelia 1.0), the highest-ROI Fruit Forager grind is not waiting for Update 17—it is upgrading plant pots, wiring a Juicy gate, and filling rows with fast crate seeds. This guide complements Plot AFK Farm with the late-game pot meta community veterans use after Tourmaline Crates unlock.

Servers stay at five players. Plots remain personal; friends help with Orders and lever crates, not harvesting your beds.

Why pots matter more than raw sell price

A seed that sells for less can still win if it respawns faster. Community endgame notes repeatedly prefer Tourmaline Crate seed lines (Cacao, Pomegranate, Papaya variants) over parking only expensive Tourmaline seeds or Worsboom lines, because cycle speed plus a Juicy mutation gate beats sparse high-base sells.

Tourmaline Plant Pots from Tourmaline Crates grow about 100% faster than normal pots. One upgraded pot multiplies every seed you ever plant in it—so pots are the first ticket sink after Greater Mythic gates are open.

Cross-check drops on Crates Index and Index progress on Index Completion.

Unlocking pot capacity

  1. Finish early Planting Update basics (wood/glass pots, pickup controls)—see Controls.
  2. Push coin income until Tourmaline gear is realistic (Tourmaline Zone).
  3. Enter Zone T and buy Plant Pot Limit upgrades at Tourmaline Temple (community cap ~20, ~500K coins each).
  4. Keep rolling Tourmaline Crates (lever pits or ~750-ticket summons) until every active bed uses a Tourmaline Pot.

Do not max printers before pot limits if your AFK loop is the main coin engine—printers help tickets, pots help coins/XP density.

Juicy gate layout

A Juicy gate (community term for routing harvested fruit through a mutation bias before sell) pairs with pot farms so stacks leave the plot as Juicy instead of raw Common sells. Exact furniture names vary by patch; the principle is:

  • Harvest conveyor → mutation/Juicy station → sell box or storage
  • Keep Order-demand fruits in separate storage pots so the gate does not auto-sell quest items
  • Favorite incomplete Index fruits so you notice when a new seed finally ticks the Fruits tab

Watch the verified base tour video on Plot AFK Farm (YouTube GC9cYj9-HU8) for multi-floor storage and mutation-floor inspiration—then adapt spacing to your pot count.

Seed priority table (content-freeze meta)

PrioritySeed / lineWhy
1Tourmaline Crate exclusives (Cacao / Pomegranate / Papaya)Fast growth + Index exclusives
2Fig / Snowbloom era staplesStrong idle cycles from Zone 25 / Winter patches
3Tourmaline Seeds (~15K in Zone T)Flavor and Index, slower than crate lines for pure AFK
4CommonsOnly as Order fillers or early tutorial beds

Grow crate seeds on the plot so the Fruits Index registers them—buying the seed alone is not enough.

Ticket and coin loop around pots

  1. Run Orders on the five-minute cooldown.
  2. Sell Juicy stacks for coins toward Temple pot upgrades.
  3. Bank tickets for Tourmaline Crate summons only after Greater Mythic gates you care about are unlocked.
  4. Log Index tabs after each crate open (Session Planner).

Many completionists swap a coin sell pad for stronger ticket printer focus once Orders are stable—pots still need coin for Temple caps, so keep at least one high-throughput Juicy sell path.

Common mistakes

  • Upgrading cosmetics before Tourmaline Pots
  • Planting only Tourmaline Seeds because the name sounds best
  • Selling Uniques needed for Tourmaline Amulet while chasing pots
  • Ignoring Temple Plant Pot Limit and wondering why beds feel capped
  • Leaving Frosty Index holes idle forever when Frosty is seasonally disabled—finish obtainable tabs first

Session template (60 minutes)

  1. Harvest + restock pots (10 min)
  2. Orders + zone fill-sell (20 min)
  3. One crate pit or 750 summon if tickets allow (15 min)
  4. Temple shopping or Index furniture gap (10 min)
  5. Log tickets and next pot upgrade (5 min)
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Are Tourmaline Plant Pots worth the tickets?

Yes for AFK accounts. The ~100% faster growth multiplies every future seed. Prioritize pots after Greater Mythic gates you need are unlocked.

Should I plant Tourmaline Seeds or crate seeds?

Community endgame AFK guides prefer Tourmaline Crate seed lines for cycle speed, then use Tourmaline Seeds for Index or flavor rows.

What is a Juicy gate?

A plot layout that routes harvests through Juicy (or similar) mutation before selling, raising coin-per-cycle on fast growers.

Where do I raise pot limits?

Tourmaline Temple inside Zone T sells Plant Pot Limit upgrades after you unlock the four-piece Tourmaline gear gate.

Does content freeze change pot meta?

It reinforces it. With fewer new zones, pot upgrades, Index exclusives, and crate seeds are the best long-term investments.
